Public Health Updates for Halton Physicians: Focus on COVID-19 vaccination

By attending the Public Health Updates for Halton Physicians: Focus on COVID-19 vaccination, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the current state of COVID-19 infection and the vaccination status in Halton Region;
  • Understand the key principles on communicating with vaccine hesitant individuals;
  • Implement skills to listen and engage in conversations aimed at building trust vaccines, especially the COVID-19 vaccine; and
  • Identify an adverse event following immunization and explain how to report an AEFI following COVID-19 vaccination.

These free webinars are interactive and questions from participants are answered in real-time where possible. Each session is recorded and shared after the event, including links to useful resources. More information is available online at halton.ca/physicians and halton.ca/COVID19.
