This webinar will explore the challenges and successes of performing a Virtual Fall Risk Assessment and Virtual Fall Prevention Clinic. Join us for an interactive session as we navigate Fall Prevention in the virtual world! Presenter: Ronda Field is a Physiotherapist with the Fraser Health Authority Injury Prevention & Assessment team, the Falls Prevention Mobile Clinic and the Healthy Bones Clinic. She also serves on the Assisted Living Falls Working Group and is the liaison for Falls Prevention for Home Health & Assisted Living. She coordinates Carefit training for staff in Assisted Living, Residential Care and Day Programs for Older Adults. Currently, all of these roles are being performed virtually. Prior to this role, she worked for several years as a Home Health Physiotherapist in FHA. Her 25+ year career has included working in three countries and virtually every level of care from Residential Care to ICU. Her outside interests include travel (pre-pandemic!), renovations, volunteer work, reading and spending time with family.
